Odds & Ends

Fleece and wool hats, crocheted scarves, patches, keychains, ornaments, auto trash bags, mug wraps, and aprons. The embroidery designs I have can be put on many things. Just ask.

Where do I get my designs?

Although many of the designs I use are my own, I often purchase designs from other embroidery sites. Giving credit where credit is due, thanks goes to Sweet Pea Embroidery, Embroidery Library, Urban Threads, Off With Their Threads, EmFreudery, Kreative Kiwi, and Designs by JuJu. There are other designers as well, but these are the ones I use the most often. By purchasing their designs, I am allowed to use on things that I make and sell. I am not allowed to sell the design file itself, or do any kind of mass production.

My Books

Most creative types have more than one creative pursuit. Mine are sewing and writing. We will leave cooking out of the equation. I always wanted to publish a book and in 2019, I made that dream come true.

My first book is called In Between Blinks. It is a fairy tale and tells the story of two children and how they search through a magical land searching for a very important person. There are fairies, trolls, pixies, and even a talking crow.

MY SHOWCASE GALLERY

About Me

  • Hello from the PNW

There is much about me that may interest you. I am a seeker of knowledge, a mystic, a ufologist, and a wife. I love the topic of quantum physics, and I love to camp. I love cats and dogs. However, mine have all crossed over the rainbow bridge. My business name inspiration comes from my ginger cat.

I used to belong to the Society for Creative Anachronism, where I was a scribe (painted illuminated manuscript-styled scrolls.) My name in that organization was Anne Brynley. I learned so many things there – medieval reenactment.

Currently, I consider myself a writer, a crafter, a merchant, and a two-time cancer survivor. I have a lot to be grateful for, and I don’t want to waste a minute of time. Life is short and valuable. Often, we don’t realize that until the end of our lives.

My hobby business is not designed as a money maker. It is a creative venue where I can express myself, share my creations, and cover my costs. That is why I don’t make mass quantities of anything. I like making one of a kind things.

I hope you have a wonderful day and practice and receive random acts of kindness.
